Changes to data protection requirements under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

20 December 2017

NHS Employers has published a factsheet to help employers understand and prepare for the upcoming data protection changes under GDPR, which come into force on 25 May 2018.

With a summary of the key changes, detail on data protection principles and terminology, and important steps which HR departments can take to prepare, the factsheet is a good reference guide to ensure employers are up to speed.

PCC has teamed up with specialist healthcare lawyer Hill Dickinson to run two workshops that clarify the new rules and will help your organisation stay on the right side of the law without adding needlessly to the burden of administration. The workshops will spell out what’s about to change and clarify what organisations need to do to prepare. Book now for the few remaining places in London on 16 January and Manchester on 18 January.
